 Quality Dance Education

Originally established in 1959, The Lorraine Judd Dance Center, LLC offers a complete dance curriculum that ranges from recreational classes for pre-school children to pre-professional classes for serious dance students. We are dedicated to providing a quality dance education and devoted to building a school of excellence . 

Although, our curriculum is built around a graduated study of classical ballet & jazz technique, the emphasis of our dance program includes building self-confidence, self-discipline and developing  self-respect and respect for others. Our classes are kept small and our faculty is an educated and qualifed staff of adult professionals who explore and inspire creativity.

Owner and Artistic Director, Suzanne Winoski, is a graduate of DeSales University (formerly Allentown College),
with a B.A. in Dance. She is a certified member of Dance Teachers Club of Boston and has gained experience teaching dance in the area for many years. She has served on the dance faculty of Brass City Ballet and Westover School and is a member of the Connecticut Dance Alliance. She became the artistic director of The Lorraine Judd Dance Center in 1995, when she took over for her teacher/mentor and studio namesake. It was here that her love of dance was inspired and nurtured as a child.

 Located at 156 Roosevelt Drive (Route 34)  in Seymour, CT , our facility maintains two spacious studios complete with hardwood floors, ballet barres &  full mirrored walls. Our  studio hours are generally weeknights, Mon-Thur 5PM - 9PM and Sat 10 AM - 2PM. New students are always welcome!
